My computer is an ACER Aspire Laptop 5633WLMI, with 1 Gig RAM 120 Gig HD I Run Windows Vista Home Premium on my D: Drive with 20 Gig free space on D: I am using Open Office 2.3 and log on as a user with administrator rights. I have a symantec pointing device with a silver scrolling button and that works fine. I also have an USB Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 connected because I prefer an external mouse. It is with the external mouse that I have the problem. My scroll wheel doesn't work with any OpenOffice applications... Tell a lie it does work in the index page of the help, but not the actual help contents page, for that I have to use the silver scrolling button which works fine for everything to do with office. The Mouse scroll wheel works fine with IE7, Firefox 2.0.0.7, Opera 9.23, Thunderbird 2.0.0.6, Delphi 2007 etc... It also works fine for all the applications that came with Vista Home Premium, it is only my OOo programs with the problem.
