Usually I would like all the columns to keep the same size when inserting a column (apart from the column where I insert the new one). Especially if I've already got a filled table (full page-width), with the columns carefully aligned to other elements on the page, and just would like to add another column. The new method causes all the cell to shrink, even to the point the content isn't fitting in anymore.
