Open office does not start on 64-bit linux when fglrx ATI graphics driver is
used.

OS: Xubuntu Gutsy 7.10 amd64 (x86_64)
Kernel: 2.6.22.14-default
CPU: AMD Athlon dual-core
MB/GPU: Amd 690G MB , integrated ATI X1250 graphics
As far as i see, gutsy(7.10) uses fglrx version 8.37.6 .

Open office does start when other X server (driver) is used:
-when I put xgl server and compiz or
when I use VESA (default vga) server, Ooo works.
But when I use fglrx as usual for 2D desktop, Open Office will not start.

I found similar bugs describing this issue on two more places:
http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org-amd64/+bug/155372
And one reported for version 2.2.1 of OpenOffice (I have 2.3 on Xbuntu 7.10)
