User mba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|NEW |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |WONTFIX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Oct 27 11:05:14 +0000 2007 ------- I think being honest is better than letting people wait for ever: this RFE won't be implemented. If you want to have floating windows permanently visible and keep them beneath your text: de-maximize your window and you will have plenty of room outside of it. If the window is dockable, dock it. Both are valid workarounds for now. What about the future? Our future plans are to get rid of floating, non-modal elements, everything should be dockable somewhere. This removes the only reason why a left aligned view could make at least some sense. So we don't want to invest time here and add more clutter to our options dialog. I think it's fair to tell you about that and let you invest your votes in other issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
