If I can find it, I am going to revert to 1.5. One of the major reasons for using OOo is the ability to switch between Word and OOo, but this field problem makes it fairly unusable. It is extremely annoying to either lose the functionality of fields by saving them as plain text or lose the field information completely if you forget to do this.
