------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 2 14:54:32 +0000 2007 ------- When I saved one MS Word document using OO 2.3 Writer the file size increased from originally 68K to 106K. I saved another MS Word file with 284K size and the size increased to 336K. I tested it with OO 2.2 on Windows and Mac and the result was the same. Than I tested OO 1.5 and OO 2.0 on Windows and Linux. The first file got the size 48K and the second file got the size 281K. Old OO 1.5 and OO 2.0 write MS Word files with the size of MS Word or even less, but OO 2.2, OO 2.3 make the file size about 1.5 time bigger. Such size increase affects MS Office compatibility. Now I should keep two versions ,OO 2.3 and OO 2.0, on my machine.
