------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Nov 4 15:54:17 +0000 2007 ------- @pjanik: the attached file zak.602 is normal "kamenicky" encoded text. It does not have "@CT" string at the beginning of the file and thus T602 typedetection cannot take it over. If it did, all content of /var/log would pass through the filter. The filter that opens this one is the "encoded text" filter and it is IMHO correct like this. The general IO error is a standard error when a filter returns sal_False. It is not the fortunate situation, but there is no other way the filter method can communicate to the system that it did not convert the document once it is called. The "Cancel" is meaning exactly that - the user prevented the filter from openning the document. Would be issue for framework project maybe to give as a return value an enum with different states, but this would not be before 3.0 because of the way it would break compatibilities. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
