I fear the reason for the problem is issue 71618. There are problems with thick lines on 3D objects. As a workaround you can set the width of all the border lines of the series to zero. I'll attach the changed document. ->Daniel, I doubt that issue 71618 will be fixed that soon. So to avoid that ugly problems with thick lines on 3D objects in general, I would like to beg you to always set the line width to zero when importing 3D charts from excel if possible. At least the thinest lines in excel should become hairlines I think.
