I also do not know how to reproduce that. But maybe we can find commons with the configuration of cyberwuff. I use OpenSuSE (different versions). The Homedirs are located on a NFS Server. The OOo is the standard version (not those specially compiled by Novell/SuSE). It works fine for weeks, but one day the path is resetted and the recent files list is cleared. Could not make out the reason yet. Please tell me what config file is responsible for these two setups (path and recent files). I can have a close look on this file then.
