2007 -------
Open the attached document and run the included Beanshell macro. It shows that
UnoRuntime.areSame() cannot compare values of type any. Neither comparing any
with X... nor comparing any with any works. This is a very serious bug.
Consequences of this are things such as listeners being registered multiple
times, objects being processed multiple times (or not at all), objects being put
in lists multiple times,... All of this can lead to strange effects and hard to
diagnose issues.
