------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 14 16:59:32 +0000 2007 ------- Besides the rendering problems, there are a few more defects demonstrable with the example Word file test-equation.doc (under Linux): 1- The size of the equation object cannot be changed under OOo 2.3 (Linux); there is no such problem with OOo 2.3 (Windows)! 2- Opening the equation object (by double-click) and then closing the equation editing window (ESC key) will change the equation completely; practically it destroys it (both under Linux and Windows). Apparently, OpenOffice cannot interpret the equation's internal representation).
