( *.ods ) 2.2.1 consistently takes about 65 seconds to open and display the document 2.3 takes anywhere from 65 seconds - 5 minutes to open and display the document. These times were taken on an Intel Centrino Duo 1.8Ghz with 1gig of ram. during this time, there is little to no disk activity and the cpu usage remains low. Timings on an older 1.8Ghz Celeron with 512meg ram is similar but more disk activity is apparent. ( swap file?? ) Why is this so slow? This is WITH the quick start loaded ( tray icon ) at boot.
