------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Nov 20 16:48:25 +0000 2007 ------- Some more info about the proposed patch: The autodetection flag is read in jfw_getSelectedJRE in jvmfwk/source/framework.cxx from ~/.openoffice.org2/user/config/javasettings_Linux_x86.xml. It is the autoSelect="true" item. Therefore the JFW_E_TRY_AUTOSELECT error flag should be processed by any method calling jfw_getSelectedJRE. I know that it might not be possible everywhere, so I mentioned "if possible" in the error description. It is currently processed a special way only in jvmfwk/plugins/sunmajor/javaenvsetup/javaldx.cxx. If the error happens, javaldx continues and calls jfw_findAndSelectJRE. It works for me. I haven't found any problems with it so far. To be honest, I do not understand the jwmfvk code perfectly... I agree that my fix is not 100% clean but I think that it is not so bad. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
