------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 23 12:27:59 +0000 2007 ------- BTW if it would help I can provide an example. Or you can simply create your own: The update information XML does not need to be dynamic, it does not even need to be on the web, you can use a file:// URL in description.xml to point to a local update information XML file. Perhaps you can do the same with the download URL, but what I did was I provided a URL to an image, like http://www.openoffice.org/branding/images/logonew.gif. If this is the URL, the download works in the Extension Manager, but you get an error, like "Couldn't determine media type" or something. Now if you change the URL to http://www.openoffice.org/branding/images/logonew.gif?hello, it still works fine in a browser, but the Extension Manager can no longer download it. Hope this helps reproducing the problem -- really no server-side programming needed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
