------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Nov 24 23:50:44 +0000 2007 ------- what I tried to do was to underline everything upto (including) the first colon of each paragraph. ^.[^:]*: replace with & with the correct format shoud do it, don't you think? and it does. but only with "replace". "replace all" also finds the text after the first colon to the next colon if there is one and to the next and so on and so forth. have i made myself clear? (I am german) I'l just try again. When I use "^.[^:]*:" replace with "*:" on the line test:test:test: "replace" *:test:test: but test:test:test: "replace all" *:*:*: and the workaround is either use "replace" as often as necessary or first "find all" and then "replace" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
