I noticed someone mentioned about the delay in opening the print dialog with large documents. This is worth looking at I think. I tested with the OpenDocument spec (http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/19275/OpenDocument-v1.0ed2-cs1.odt) - 732 pages. I takes a 15 sec to bring up the print dialog on my MacBook.
