------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 29 10:39:56 +0000 2007 ------- Import from MS Excel (.xls) worksheet using Database Wizard It would be helpful to have the functionality to import from an Excel sheet to a database within OpenOffice Base. This would provide the user the opportunity to create custom forms and carry out some querying on the data within the excel sheet more efficiently (e.g. using SQL and designated queries). The excel sheet can include OLE embedded objects (e.g. MS Word 2003 documents, or .jpg's) as contents of the cell, which would require to be imported along with the other fields. Currently OpenOffice uses OpenOffice calc to read MS Excel sheets when using the Database Wizard. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
