Change the diagram type to xy-diagram with points and lines. Open Chart Data Table. Delete second y-series, named "column 3". Now try to enter the data A 1 0,5 B 2 1 C 5 3 D 10 4 When you close the dialog the x-series and the y-series become identical. This does only happen, if you insert the diagram directly with the toolbar button. If you cut the newly inserted diagram and paste it to its old place, it will work as expected.
