------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 30 21:20:41 +0000 2007 ------- When OOo 2.3 Draw imports a .wmf graphic containing text objects, and the graphic is subjected to the Modify -> Break function for editing, the text size of all text objects is dramatically reduced. This appears to occur because the text objects are imported with the "Fit [text] to Frame" option active, instead of "Fit Width/Height to text" - even though new typed text has the latter option active by default. It is possible to restore the original text size by clicking each text object individually and manually changing these options for each, an extremely tedious process. I first noticed this problem with graphs imported from Sigmaplot, but I find this resizing occurs even for drawings created by OOo Draw itself. To reproduce it, just create a drawing with two text objects, select both together, export the selection as .wmf, then import that .wmf into a new drawing and do a Modify -> Break. The text will become tiny. This problem does not occur in OOo 1.1 - there the text remains normal size and "Fit Width/Height to text" is active for all text objects - nor does it occur when the same .wmf is imported into PowerPoint. But it does occur in both the Windows and Linux versions of OOo 2.3. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
