Well, I think the idea of auto-calculate is, that you can disable it when you
enter lots of data, and update takes long, so you want to disable it, enter your
data, and then re-enable it again.

As updating charts takes usually longer than updating a formula, I think it
would make sense to suppress chart updates, too.

->NN: What do you think? It should be sufficient not to send change
notifications to the data sequences.

The question is, what happens when the chart is double-clicked? With no more
ado, I think you would get the old values displayed, and once you do a change
inside the chart, you get the new data. So, it would be wise to send a delayed
modify event to the chart when activated.
