>From what I gather, he doesn't miss anything in the stylist but in the view of 
the current document. Take a look at the page he linked to, the screenshot 
beneath the "Normal View" header shows a document view where Word shows an 
extra panel with information about the styles being used in each paragraph (at 
the left of the document). 

This extra panel or something similar is the feature being requested, the gain 
being that you can immediately see where which style is being used without the 
need to "click paragraph -> check stylist -> click next paragaph -> check 
stylist". Could be an extra view entitled "Style View" or something like that.
