------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Dec 6 19:26:34 +0000 2007 ------- On an Intel-Mac under OS X 10.4.11 cyrillic text is entered into Writer of OpenOffice 2.3.0 either X11 or Cocoa version. Then this file is exported to Word XP/2000/97 format using File>Save as... Such file could be successfully opened by OpenOffice on a Mac as well as on a Windows-machine. However, MS Word XP SP3, MS Word 2003 on several different hardware configurations crashed or hung trying to open such file.
