I would put all 5 of my votes here if that were possible. I would also contribute money toward this feature, if there were a way to do feature-based funding for OpenOffice. (I realize that could be problematic, and has probably already been discussed elsewhere.) I also plan to use this with mind maps, but no need to build that into OO, since the format can be imported/exported into other tools. The most promising I've seen lately is one that lets many people edit on the web simultaneously(!), Mindomo.
