I'm new and I hope that this comment-box is the right place for my comment about issue #10611: I prefere OpenOffice against MS Word and all the others. I use it since the beginning and have had the problem especially when I've to write essays. Ok, I've just found one solution for the problem: I've used MS Office. And believe me, I don't like to use it, I prefere oO, but this issue is a major problem and should be solved. It's possible to see the PAGENUM-function in MS Word and you can do math with it. It's quite easy, no hidden text, no references and it's dynamic because you can add pages of the main part without moving reference-tags around. Maybe it's possible to implement this kind of comfortable workaround? Otherwise I've to write my bachlor-essay in MS Word :-( As a conculsion: Yes, it's right, is my personal opinion and there might be some other (real) major bugs and feature requests which have to be solved first. But, I've hoped that I have not to write the following words: This this case, MS Word is better than my loved oO.
