------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Dec 13 07:33:33 +0000 2007 ------- For OOo 2.2, the only methods to prevent hyphenation seems to be: 1) Add the word to a user dictionary preceeded by '=' 2) Assign a character style with no language I dislike both solutions, because hyphenation and spelling should be treated independent. My idea was to add a soft-hyphen at the beginning of a word to prevent hyphenation. At the moment OOo writer still displays the hyphen. Also very odd is that OOo hyphenates things like "hab's" (German contraction for "habe es") as "hab'-s". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
