------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 14 17:12:35 +0000 2007 ------- Given non-reproducibility on another Linux system, I have purged OpenOffice from my system and reinstalled, trying both before and after re-installation of the hyphenation dictionary to see what happened. The odt file now opens without difficulty: presumably the issue related to a corrupt setting somewhere in my installation. Running Sidux does mean updates come from the Debian Sid stable, so something in Unstable may have affceted an upgrade. The Word file, however, still causes problems. The symptoms have changeed: - On opening, the first time there is the same immediate crash; - Recovery appears to work and brings the document onto screen. The document can be edited and changes saved. - Scrolling to the top of the page, however, leads to a crash. Should I open this as a different issue? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
