I opened the same file with word and background is white, so I know it's a problem with file open. In order to get the file to its original state I set the background with Format->Seiteneinstellungen->Hintergrund->Keine Füllung. (probably: Format->Page settings->Background->not filled) But after saving and reloading the background is black again. Hope this helps, feel free to contact me for further questions.
