------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 21 10:59:09 +0000 2007 ------- Although the translation standard is Unicode, and the rest of the OpenOffice.org strings are Unicode, the Windows installer is not, because NSIS has not supported Unicode. This results in showstopper bugs like 81728. Currently, we do not have a solution to this issue, and will not be able to release a complete Vietnamese OpenOffice.org Windows build for 2.4, as we were unable to do for 2.3. However, we could avoid this type of issue entirely, and bring the Windows installer up to internationalization standard, by using NSIS Unicode instead. Please see the URL quoted. I strongly suggest we use NSIS Unicode ASAP. I wish I could help with that, but unfortunately I can no longer code, due to illness. However, I can at least make the suggestion.
