------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jan 2 11:05:27 +0000 2008 ------- To verify that the font embedding makes the difference in file size (thanks troodon!) please use e.g. acroread's dialog File->DocumentProperties->Fonts to check which fonts get embedded by which application. The point of PDF ("Portable Document Format") is to make documents portable between different computers. An assumption that any target system has all the fonts the source system has is usually wrong, so OOo defaults to embed all fonts or their used subsets. The only exception are fonts like "Times" which are in Adobe's "base 14 font list". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
