fixed in SRC680/dr58 (OOo 2.4)
Excel 2007 writes out different fill attributes, including transparency.
Import/export of solid transparency for all objects has been implemented now
(chart areas, titles, data points etc). Note that even Excel 2003 is able to
display transparent objects in charts.
