It downloaded the installation package, OOo_2.3.1_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe, onto the desktop. When running the installer, it created a whole folder, called "OpenOffice.org 2.3 Installation Files", also on the Desktop. This folder remains even after installation. EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: a) Such a folder should be in a Temp directory (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp), not on the Desktop. b) The folder should be cleaned up after successful installation and not stay around. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
