(Provided the text is long enough for language guessing to work properly. Usually about a sentence is enough.) 3) If one reads the spec it will be seen that the documents languages get included as well in the proposal list. Thus if you only use some few languages in your document French will become available readily if you have at least set one word to French already! Also if your keyboard language were French it will be listed from the start.
