Here's a clarification that I think will be useful:

- In MS PowerPoint create a presentation with 3 slides.
- In slide 1 create a hyperlink to slide 3 in the same presentation.
- Start the presentation.
- In slide 1 click the hyperlink to slide 3.
- In slide 3 press the right mouse button.
- A context-sensitive menu is displayed with several options, including
"Previously viewed slide". Click this option.
- Slide 1 is displayed again.
- Repeat the steps above for OOo Impress. The function "Previously viewed slide"
is missing.

This is not trivial for non-linear presentations. We have presentations for
example with 50 or more slides. Slide 10 for example has about 10 hyperlinks to
other slides. The presenter does not always know to jump back to the 10th slide.
