I did notice, however, that the table in question had a cell that extended well off the right side of the page. Being that the edge of the cell was into the 'grey background' of the editor, it was not possible to change it's size by clicking on the border and dragging. I believe that when the file was saved and then re-opened, the edge of the cell was pushed back onto the page, which changed all the column widths to accomodate for the decreased size of the last column. I am not sure how the last column was able to stretch off the page. It was not a planned behaviour.
