------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jan 23 12:03:09 +0000 2008 ------- When building OOo using an environment with flex 2.5.33 (which is the default on Mac OS X 10.5), base cannot connect to eg HSQLDB databases due to an SQL parsing error. When using flex 2.5.4 the problem does not occur. As Mac OS X and probably newer Linux distributions will ship with never flex versions, this issue should not be fixed by changing the build requirements in the configure script.
