(or save the first time) ) Try to save as a particular file type, for example Word 97/2000 ) I change my mind, and I choose another file type, for example XML ) On the File Name text box, still appears .DOC ) I select another extension, for example RTF ) Now Writer puts the extension as XML That is, Writer always shows the previously selected extension, not the one I just selected. The same "Save As..." defect happens also in "Calc". IM not sure about the version I have, the "About..." dialog says only 2.3.0, not "RC1".
