When I was done, I saved a copy as .doc to send to a colleague of mine and went to bed. This morning I tried loading the file again to continue working on it, and Writer crashed as soon as it was done loading the file. I could actually see it rendering the first page, and then suddenly the crash. I'm running OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 from Debian unstable (package openoffice.org-2.3.1-3). The file loads correctly using the 'Insert File' trick (i.e. create empty Writer document, do Insert -> File and select the corrupt file) although the styles are now reverted to the default values. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
