Also the second one works as designed.
Excel uses every time DDE links for such problems. In Calc you have two choices
the one you used and the DDE thing. To get this Calculation done with the actual
values from the file use update Links or save the file and reload it answering
the update question with yes.
As this Issue isn't an Issue I close it as invalid.
