------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 3 13:42:53 +0000 2008 ------- In Microsoft Windows xP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2, using OpenOffice 2.3.0 and Component Writer. I was able to reproduce the bug on my computer using MS Word with SP3, and the following the steps below: 1. Open a new document in OO Writer and write "Preface" (w/o quotes) on the first line 2. then write "Hello" (w/o quotes) on the second line 3. Now, highlight the string "Preface" and change its style to "Heading 1" from "Default" 4. Now, go to the first line before "Preface" press tab 5. Do a Save As and store the file as "Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)" format 6. Close OOWriter and open the saved file in MSWord 7. You'll still see the same formatted document. Now, go to the first line and remove the first tab before "Preface" 8. Save the document 9. Now, open the document again in OO Writer, you'll still see the indented Preface string although you had removed the tab in MS Word I tested the same steps with Default style type (instead of Heading 1) but it did not generate this error. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
