I've also reproduced this in OpenOffice 2.3.0 under Ubuntu 7.10. Other buttons seem to work fine (as crxssi said, elipse works and so does 3D Objects). I don't know if this helps, but I also tried replacing the rectangle button's image, and the problem still showed up. (Just in case, here are the steps I used to replace the image: 1 - Go to Tools > Customize. 2 - Click on the 'Toolbars' tab. 3 - Select "Drawing" from the 'Toolbars' drop-down menu 4 - Select the second Rectangle button under "Toolbar Content". 5 - click modify > Change Icon 6 - Select any other icon (I tried it with BasicShapes.Pentagon), click 'ok', click 'ok'.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
