------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 5 05:51:45 +0000 2008 ------- I couldn't reproduce this. I tried to duplicate the conditions you described: 1 - Created a sample document of about a page of random text in Linux (Ubuntu 7.10 with OpenOffice 2.3.0). 2 - Saved it as a .doc and reopened it under Windows (Vista SP1, OpenOffice 2.3.1). 3 - Shut down windows without altering or closing the file. When I rebooted, the file was intact with no problems. I also tried the same process, except editting the file in step 3 before closing, and the usual message prompting me to save popped up. Even when I ignore this message, no harm comes to the file, apart from my changes being lost. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
