------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 5 17:53:08 +0000 2008 ------- Razvizara, I did some experiments prompted by your results. Now, I know exactly what's going on. This happens when the Format -> Page -> Background has the Tile square marked and the background image is actually equal or greater than the screen (that is not tiles are necessary). Most probably it only happens with old presentations (created before OO 2.2). I'm not sure whether the Tile setting was not there before or it had a different default. Anyway, the old presentations have a Tile setting which is not necessary and which corrupts the PDF export. The work around is obvious: clear the Tile setting. But this is a real error where the PDF filter is trying to set up a random tile pattern even when the background in the original presentation was not tiled (because of the background image size). I believe the correct behavior would be to scale up the background in the PDF file (that is to ignore the Tile setting if it was not necessary in the original presentation because of the background image size). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
