Recently we've discovered certain sequences of characters that cause OpenOffice
Writer to jump to 100% CPU usage for several minutes before recovering. Any
attempt to edit these characters can also trigger the behavior, and opening a
document containing these characters will also cause it.

We've seen this bug on Kubuntu 7.10 with OpenOffice 2.3.0 (the package being
openoffice.org 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3). We've seen the problem on three different
machines.

To duplicate the problem:

1. Create a new, empty document for OpenOffice Writer
2. In some other application, copy the string
'0000FFFFA987654321000000AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA' (without the quotes)
3. Paste that string into the new document.

For us, CPU usage goes to 100% and stays that way for several minutes.
Eventually it drops back down to normal levels and the document can be edited,
unless you make the mistake of trying to change that string (for example: try
to delete a single 'A' from the middle). Saving the document then reopening it
also causes the behavior.

There are doubtless other strings that will cause the problem, but that's the
one we've tested repeatedly.
