User mba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |WORKSFORME -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 11 15:43:19 +0000 2008 ------- Thank you for reporting this to us. It's appreciated. But there is nothing illegal. OpenOffice.org is licenced under LGPL and that doesn't forbid selling the bits. IANAL, but IIRC it's enough to give users a hint where they can download the source (what the OOo installation set does anyway) and submit derived work (code changes) under the (L)GPL also. The offering doesn't seem to be derived work, it's 100% OOo. The auction even mentions the licence and at a first glance I think everything is OK. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
