We are about to ship OOo 2.4 Release Candidate 1 these days (OOH680_m7 will be
the build)
The latest available developer build (OOH680_m6) can be downloadad here:

Please re-verify your findings in this version and comment here. Thank you.
Note: If you wish to "re-animate" an installed version, the "easiest" way is to
remove the user-instalation. Note that all other personal settings (including
personal autocorrect files, user dictionaries etc) will be removen then, too. So
if you have files you like to re-use, put them aside first. Like this you can
test also if a "tuned" autocorrect file is "the core of the problem" and the
reason why I can not reproduce it in any version. Now If you have such a file,
feel free to write a new issue with that file attached.
