Tried your suggestion of re-installing libicu.. yum remove libicu yum install libicu openoffice.org-calc openoffice.org-calc openoffice.org-writer openoffice.org-langpack-en openoffice.org-math openofice.org-core I'd be interested to know how you worked it out from the stack trace? And an even more general question - is there any other way to find if a file has been corrupted following install?
