2008 -------
At least 2 of the accounts I was trying were standard POP3 ISP accounts. My
local ISP (Internet Alaska) and Clearwire.

I also tried my company mail server, also POP3.

I did not try a Yahoo account.

The Gmail accounts I did try have working POP3 access. As expected after reading
through the forums, they did not work.
