2008 -------
- there were some documents without @CT but these are importable through ASCII
filter, I think it's OK to require @CT
- manual code selection is *required* used for "Cyrillic alphabet mode"
(there is no way how to detect it automagically :-)

- dot-commands - some documents exists which are broken if there are no dot
commands displayed but not important here (IIRC I saw only one in fact).
Another reason was that you can insert picture into text and if dot-command is
displayed you can see where inserted picture was placed.
Anyway, it is probably safe to remove it from text completely for normal use.
