User bm changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|bm |jsi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 22 17:09:33 +0000 2008 ------- I don't see this requirement. When you just added mean value lines for all series, you can undo this with the Undo function (Ctrl-Z). It is now also possible to remove a single mean value line via the context menu of a data series, and it is possible to select the mean value and press delete. Technically, it would be no problem to introduce a function that deletes all mean value lines, but from a UI perspective I see this problematic: What do you do if half the series have mean value lines, then you would need a command "add mean value lines for the rest of the series" and "remove mean value lines from series that have mean value lines". This is the major difference to the examples you pointed out: there is only one Status Bar, the showing of changes is only a view setting that applies to all changes or none. For mean value lines you would need some kind of tri-state. Another option would be to drop the "Insert Mean Value Lines for all series" menu item at all. I am not sure if this is really a requirement. And it would remove the conflict described here. The technical solution you point out here seems not appropriate: a menu item Insert/Mean Value Lines with a check box to delete those objects when the check box is on? Please clarify how this could be solved. As I said, I would also see the possibility to drop the "Insert/Mean Value Lines" menu item. Maybe this is the best solution. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
