Issue:
Openoffice does not start under the user that I am running alfresco under. This
has to work so Alfresco can connect to the openoffice instance for meta-data
search.

SELinux is disabled on these servers and I have ran a strace on the why I’m
getting this issue but can’t see anything that STANDS out (see txt files
attached). I tried this with Openoffice 2.2 and 2.3 and I’m running into the
same issue, This happens on all the servers. I browsed the forums and the only
result I could find was related to a driver not working for correctly which
doesn’t explain why it works for the ROOT user. Could there be missing RPM’s?
If so Still nto sure why it works as the ROOT user… Any Ideas?
